What personal information do we process? When you visit, use, or navigate our Services, we may process personal information depending on how you interact with us, the choices you make, and the products and features you use.

Do we process any sensitive personal information? Yes — we process birth date, birth time, and birth place to generate your astrology and Human Design charts. We process this information only with your consent and only to deliver the Services.

How do we share your information? We share your information only with the service providers we use to deliver ARIA to you (auth, payments, AI processing, chart calculations, hosting, analytics). They are contractually limited to using your data only for the purpose of delivering the Service. See Section 5 for the full vendor list.

How do we keep your information safe? We use organizational and technical security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption at rest, secure transmission, and limited access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we do our best.

What are your rights? Depending on where you are located, applicable privacy law may give you certain rights regarding your personal information. The easiest way to exercise your rights is by contacting us at [email protected].

1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information we collect may include:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Passwords (stored hashed by our authentication provider)
  • Billing addresses
  • Payment instrument numbers (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Birth date
  • Birth time
  • Birth location (city, state, country)
  • Business context, brand guidelines, and other content you choose to enter into ARIA
  • Chat messages and conversations with ARIA

Sensitive Information. When necessary, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we process the following categories of sensitive information:

  • Birth place, date, and time (used to generate your astrology and Human Design charts)

Payment Data. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. You may find their privacy notice here: stripe.com/privacy.

Information automatically collected

In short: Some information — such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Services. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
  • To deliver the ARIA service, including generating your astrology and Human Design charts, providing personalized AI insights, and maintaining your saved data across devices.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions through our payment processor.
  • To request feedback and contact you about your use of our Services.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications in accordance with your preferences. You can opt out at any time.
  • To identify usage trends and improve the Services.
  • To save or protect an individual's vital interest, such as to prevent harm.
  • To comply with legal obligations.
In short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., legal basis) to do so under applicable law.

If you are located in the EU or UK: The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on. We may rely on:

  • Consent. You have given us permission to use your personal information for a specific purpose (e.g., birth data for chart generation). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Performance of a contract. Processing is necessary to deliver the Services you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests. Where it is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve our Services and our interests do not outweigh your rights.
  • Legal obligations. Where we must comply with applicable law.
  • Vital interests. To protect your vital interests or those of a third party.

If you are located in Canada: We process your information based on your express or implied consent, or where exceptional circumstances permitted by Canadian law apply.

4. When and With Whom Do We Share Information?

In short: We share information only with the service providers we use to deliver ARIA to you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or AI training purposes.

We do not collect personal information from third-party data brokers or marketing databases. We do receive AI-generated outputs from our AI service providers as part of delivering our Services to you.

Service providers. We share your data with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf and require access to deliver the Services. These vendors are contractually limited to processing your data solely for the purpose of delivering ARIA to you. They cannot use your data for their own purposes, sell it, or use it to train AI models. See Section 5 for the full list.

Other situations:

  • Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition. We will notify users in advance of any such transfer.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government regulation.
  • Vital interests and safety. Where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.

5. Our Service Providers (Vendor Disclosure)

In short: Here is the complete list of third-party service providers who process your data on our behalf, what data they receive, and links to their privacy policies.

To deliver ARIA, we share specific categories of data with the service providers listed below. Each provider is contractually limited to processing your data only as needed to deliver the Service to you. None of these providers may use your data to train AI models, sell your data, or share your data with their own marketing partners.

About third-party privacy policies. Each service provider above maintains its own privacy policy, which governs how they handle data on their end. These policies are subject to change without notice from us, and we are not responsible for changes to or the content of those third-party policies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies directly using the links above. If we add, remove, or change a service provider that materially affects how your data is processed, we will update this Privacy Notice and notify users when material changes occur.

6. Do We Offer AI-Based Products?

In short: Yes. ARIA is powered by AI. Your inputs and the AI's responses are never used to train AI models — not by us, and not by our AI service providers.

As part of our Services, we offer products and features powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning (collectively, "AI Products"). These tools are designed to provide personalized insights, strategy guidance, and chart interpretation. The terms in this Privacy Notice govern your use of the AI Products within our Services.

AI Service Providers

We provide the AI Products through third-party AI service providers, currently Anthropic. Your inputs (such as chat messages, business context, brand information, and chart placements) and the AI's outputs are processed by Anthropic to deliver responses to you. Anthropic does not have permission to use this data for any other purpose.

Your data is not used to train AI models

We make the following commitments regarding your data and AI training:

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your inputs or AI outputs to train any AI model.
  • Our AI service providers, including Anthropic, are contractually prohibited from using your inputs or outputs to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve their AI models. This is consistent with Anthropic's commercial terms of service for API customers.
  • We do not retain or share your AI inputs and outputs with any third party for the purpose of AI model training.

If our practices regarding AI training ever change, we will update this Privacy Notice and provide notice to users in advance of any such change.

Our AI Products

Our AI Products are designed for the following functions:

  • Personalized chart interpretation and synthesis
  • Strategic business insights tailored to your chart and brand
  • Natural language conversation (Ask ARIA)
  • Content generation for marketing, copy, and decision support

How we process your data using AI

All personal information processed using our AI Products is handled in accordance with this Privacy Notice and our agreements with our AI service providers. We use technical and contractual safeguards to protect your data throughout the process.

7. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In short: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Services and analyze usage.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

We also use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the Services are used and to improve them. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

8. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

In short: Yes. Our servers and most of our service providers are located in the United States.

Our servers are located in the United States. Regardless of your location, your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we share your personal information. This includes facilities in the United States and other countries.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, please be aware that these countries may not have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.

9. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services to you, unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). We retain your data for the period of time you have an account with us. When you delete your account, we will deactivate or delete your account information from our active databases within 30 days, except where retention is required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

10. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process, including:

  • Encryption at rest for data stored in our databases
  • Encrypted transmission (HTTPS) for all data transfers
  • Authentication and access controls limiting which systems can access user data
  • Regular security review of our infrastructure and code

However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

11. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

In short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 12. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In short: Depending on your state of residence in the US or your region (EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada), you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to:

  • Request access and obtain a copy of your personal information
  • Request rectification or erasure of your personal information
  • Restrict the processing of your personal information
  • Data portability (where applicable)
  • Not be subject to automated decision-making
  • Object to the processing of your personal information

If you are located in the EEA or UK and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your Member State data protection authority or UK data protection authority.

Withdrawing your consent

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Opting out of marketing communications

You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We may still communicate with you for non-marketing purposes such as service-related messages.

Account information

You can review or change your account information at any time by logging into your account settings. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases within 30 days. We may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce our legal terms, or comply with applicable legal requirements.

13. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

14. Do US Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In short: If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.

We only collect sensitive personal information with your consent and only for the purposes described in this Notice. Sensitive personal information may be used or disclosed to a service provider for additional, specified purposes. You may have the right to limit the use or disclosure of your sensitive personal information. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you beyond your astrology and Human Design chart.

How we use and share personal information

We share information with our service providers as listed in Section 5. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.

Your rights

You have the following rights under certain US state data protection laws:

  • Right to know whether we are processing your personal data
  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to correct inaccuracies
  • Right to request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to obtain a copy of personal data you previously shared
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
  • Right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects
  • Right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal data (where applicable)

How to exercise your rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity. We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request.

Appeals

Under certain US state data protection laws, if we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by emailing us at [email protected]. We will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to your state attorney general.

15. Do Other Regions Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In short: You may have additional rights based on the country you reside in.

Australia and New Zealand

We collect and process your personal information under the obligations and conditions set by Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. This Privacy Notice satisfies the notice requirements of both Privacy Acts.

If you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you can submit a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner.

In short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws and to reflect changes in our practices.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Notice. If we make material changes — such as adding a new service provider, changing how we use AI, or altering our data retention practices — we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
